Villan

Our Story

A gourmet stay by the sea, built in 1899 and designed by Peter Boisen. A place where you are invited to slow down, feel at home, and truly enjoy the moment. The sea is just a stone’s throw away, and a sense of care welcomes you from the moment you step through the door.

Visiting Villan should feel like visiting a close friend. Outside the windows, the seasons shift in color and mood. Inside, it is always warm, genuine, and calm. An oasis where you can exhale, recharge, and simply be.

The heart is the kitchen. With space for around forty guests, you are invited to take a seat, follow our passionate team at work, and experience the gastronomy up close. The food follows the rhythm of the seasons, draws inspiration from the surrounding landscape, and is created from ingredients sourced from nearby farms, forests, and fields. Head chef Nima and his team prepare honest, thoughtful food that surprises without trying to impress.

Your stay at Villan is taken care of around the clock. Start the day with a personal breakfast featuring local favorites, freshly baked scones, and carefully brewed coffee. In the afternoon, coffee is served at exactly 2 PM, followed by relaxed moments with light bites on the terrace or by the fire, something nice in your glass, and no rush at all. When evening comes, dinner is served featuring the best the season has to offer. And for those who don’t want the day to end, a late-night sandwich awaits.

Villan is not just a place to stay or dine. It’s a feeling. A home away from home, shaped by warmth, craftsmanship, and genuine hospitality.

Welcome home to us.

A place to slow down,
and breathe again.

At least, that’s what we believe. That’s why we opened our doors in 1899, and why we continue to welcome guests year after year.

Villan has welcomed guests since 1899. Nestled at the edge of the forest, the house has preserved its soul for more than a century. Unhurried, genuinely warm, and entirely itself. Creaking wooden floors, seven rooms, and a sense that time moves a little slower here. A reminder that some things are better when they are allowed to take their time. This is one of them.

Köket, rummen, trädgården. Allt format av samma händer som byggde det ursprungliga huset. Vi är glada att du hittat hit. På Villan checkar du inte in. Du kommer hem.
